Breast Augmentation (AMMI)
Minimally Invasive Breast Augmentation

MEVCLINIC's objective has always been to provide its users with the best treatment, in the shortest time and with the greatest comfort, following the standard imposed by the Clinical Director, who has always been a pioneer in Early High Ambulatory Surgery. The concept of Minimally Invasive Breast Augmentation (AMMI) fits into this philosophy, this time in an even more advanced standard than Ambulatory Surgery –  O  Office Based Surgery - that is, the surgery is carried out in the Clinic itself, under optimal conditions  of sterilization and efficiency, with a view to obtaining an excellent result, only accessible to surgeons with vast and recognized experience. It requires a great deal of cooperation between the entire surgical team, which makes it possible to obtain the rigor and efficiency that we intend to provide to the patients who come to us.

AMMI is the answer to all people who, in their daily occupations, cannot be disabled for several days. This surgical method needs only one day, and normal activity can be resumed the next day.

breast reduction

Breast reduction is indicated in cases of disproportionate increase in breast volume, for aesthetic or functional reasons related to symptoms arising from excessive breast weight.

It is a surgery that is usually carried out under general anesthesia. The type of reduction depends on the patient's expectations, the amount of tissue to be removed and the type of breast remodeling to be carried out. The occurrence of scars is inevitable in these cases.

Liposuction can be used as a complement to breast reduction. The recovery period is about a week and nipple sensitivity and ability to breastfeed persist in about 50% of cases.

mastopexy

Mastopexy or breast lift consists of lifting the breast when it is down. There are basically three types of mastopexy: The simplest is the removal of a decreasing amount of skin over the nipple, in order to slightly elevate the breast. It can be associated with any form of breast enlargement.  The second type involves removing an area of skin around the nipple in the shape of a donut, reducing the size of the areola. It may or may not be associated with a breast augmentation procedure. The third and widest result in a periareolar scar, through the breast below and around it in the lower part, in the form of an anchor as in breast reduction.

Any of these procedures can be performed with local anesthesia and sedation. They are well tolerated and allow a return to normal activities within a day to a week. Breast sensitivity and ability to breastfeed are not affected.
